PHILCONSTRUCT 2010 – SMX Convention Centre (November 11 to 14, 2010) ITRON’s Safety and Security Products (Booth 2028)
MANILA – ITRON officially launched its Safety and Security Product Line during the PhilConstruct 2010 exhibit at the SMX Convention Centre. In the forefront are the 3 star products, namely ArmorShield Safety Films, NoFire Fire Retardant Paints and finally the Xcaper Smoke Mask Kit.

ITRON’s booth was one of the most-visited booths. From day 1 up to the last day of the exhibit, ITRON’s booth was packed with many people from the various professions; from the CEOs/Presidents, architects, business GMs, owners of trading companies, to end-users and students alike. Everyone who visited the booth was amazed at how each product works. The products were considered by most visitors as highly marketable, as they are valuable products that address a specific need “safety & security”.

Many were awed by the benefits of our Armorshield Safety Film. This safety film will prevent the glass from fragmenting or falling into pieces. The Armorshield film coated on the glass will hold the broken glass firmly together. One of the legendary sportsman and ex-senator, Senator Robert Jaworski, visited ITRON’s booth to partake in the actual product demo for ArmorShield.		 Click to enlarge :

Right in front of him, an ITRON representative conducted a demo: a piece of Armorshield-coated glass (1FTx1FT) was dropped at the height of 2.5 meter. As expected, the glass broke…but since it is coated with ArmorShield film, the broken glass remained in one single piece. The senator, together with the rest of the crowd gathered, was amazed at how the product works.
The two other products, NoFire Fire Retardant paint and Xcaper Smoke Mask kit also had a following of its own. A huge portion of the ITRON booth visitors would always present their interest on the two products. NoFire Retardant paint is a water-based intumescent coating. It is of a Class-A rating (ASTM-E84). It also boasts of zero-flame spread index, zero-smoke developed value and zero-toxicity (U.S.-based Testing). Xcaper Smoke mask kit is an emergency mask which allows you to escape a fire in a hazardous situation, without inhaling toxic gases and toxic products of combustion. The Xcaper Smoke mask kit is so portable; one can easily store it under a desk or it can also include it as part of a frequent traveller’s kit. Click to enlarge :
